Will my child fit in this seat?
The seat carries a maximum weight of 40 lb./18 kg and at a minimum the child must be 1 years old (must be able to hold their head up

Is there a height restriction?
The only constraints on the height of a child is that their knees must fit under the handlebars. Up to 4.5 years (18kg)

Will the Weeride fit all bikes? Most, just need about 3/4" adjustment on front stem. Even fits rear suspension and disc brakes. May not be suitable for a-head stems, unless adjustable or high rise stem.

Once it is on my bicycle, do I have to take it off?
No. You can remove the child carrier itself from the steel support bar quite easily - it is attached by a single thumb screw - for putting the bike on a carrier, or if you wish to ride without the carrier. The bar on which the carrier is mounted remains on the bicycle and does not interfere with normal riding.

How easy/hard is it to install?
You should be able to install it yourself in about 20 minutes if you are used to working on your bicycle. Click here to see a domonstration of how to fit the Weeride

How much does it weigh?
Installed weight is just over 7lbs/3.2Kgs.

Do I put my child in the carrier before I get on the bike or after? What is the procedure? This is a personal preference. Due to the position of the carrier, the bicycle is quite stable with the child in.

Cycling can be dangerous. There is no way to cycle without running the risk of accidents. While nothing can guarantee rider safety, the right protective clothing can help. We also recommend that you and your child wear full protective gear (helmet and gloves) whenever you are cycling. You can also reduce the risk of injury by cycling sensibly and staying under control. If you do purchase and install the Weeride you do so at your own risk.
